Alternative text (Alt.text) can be added to images shared on ones feed or embed in articles to allow members using voice-over screen readers to understand what’s in the image. On both company pages and personal profiles, users have the ability to view post impressions, followers, profile viewers, and search appearances within a certain period of time. However, company page analytics offer more detailed information compared to profile analytics, and users can download analytics spreadsheets from company pages but not from personal profiles.

LinkedIn™ audio events are live gatherings of users that can be created via personal profiles when users have creator mode turned on. Audio events cannot be replayed after the event whereas LinkedIn Lives can be watched again.

LinkedIn™ don’t support the use of automation in any of your activities on the platform. If detected, this could lead to a ban and deletion of your profile.

 

This is the rectangular space that is behind ones profile photo. A company profile’s banner has the dimensions of 1128X191 pixels, while a personal profile has the dimensions of 1584X396 pixels.

When one follows a profile on LinkedIn™, a bell icon will appear on the right hand side, under their banner image. By clicking that bell, they’ll receive a notification each time that person, or company posts or reposts content.
